Prince Harry's decision to remain relatively quiet about the British Royal Family in recent months has sparked speculation.
According to royal expert Hugo Vickers, the Duke of Sussex may have exhausted his grievances following the release of his controversial memoir, Spare. However, Vickers also warns that future allegations against King Charles III and the rest of the family could pose challenges for the Duke. The memoir, which painted a vivid picture of Harry's strained relationships within the Royal Family, portrayed the prince as distant and, at times, aloof. This has led to a perception that he is increasingly detached from royal life, both publicly and privately.
Hugo Vickers shared his thoughts on the matter during an interview with The Sun. “Maybe he’s got it off his chest,” Vickers speculated, suggesting that Harry might have said all he needed to about his family conflicts. The expert added that the Duke's limited interactions with his family over the past few years could also be a factor.
Vickers pointed out, “He came over for the Coronation. He came over to see his father when he was ill. He’s been in England a few times for events like the Invictus Games and one or two other things.” Despite these visits, Harry’s engagement with the family has remained minimal.
The lack of communication between Harry and his brother, Prince William, has been a subject of public interest. Vickers emphasized that, to his knowledge, the two siblings have not reconciled. “He hasn’t seen his brother, as far as I know, and he hasn’t talked to his brother. What else is he going to say?” he questioned, underscoring the seemingly stagnant state of the relationship.
While Harry appears to have distanced himself from royal affairs, the lingering potential for further revelations looms.
