Pamela Anderson’s Show Creator CALLS OUT Meghan Markle for Copying on Her Premiere Day

Meghan Markle, once a self-proclaimed feminist and philanthropist, has now seemingly reinvented herself as a breathy, wicker-basket-carrying, salad-tossing home-cooked meal enthusiast.

Pamela Anderson’s Show Creator CALLS OUT Meghan Markle for Copying on Her Premiere Day

If this sudden transformation made you do a double take, you're not alone—many Pamela Anderson fans feel like they've seen this storyline play out before. Pamela Anderson’s Cooking With Love debuted just last week, showcasing the former Baywatch star in a dreamy country kitchen, gathering fresh ingredients from her garden, and preparing meals with an effortless charm. Enter Meghan, just days later, with her own Netflix show With Love, Meghan. The setup? Nearly identical—Meghan, glowing in a rustic setting, harvesting produce, engaging in charming conversation with photogenic guests, and plating meals with the kind of exuberance typically reserved for infomercials. Oh, and both series conveniently have eight episodes.

In an exclusive interview with People magazine, Meghan spoke passionately about making food look beautiful—even takeout. She also discussed her signature phrase, “As ever,” which she adopted after failing to secure a trademark for American Riviera Orchard. While she claims to have learned from past missteps, originality doesn’t seem to be part of that learning curve.

Pamela’s team, maintaining an air of grace, dismissed the controversy without fuss. Jesse Frot, co-creator and executive producer of Cooking With Love, brushed off comparisons by saying they “take pride in planting the first seeds.” Translation: They were there first but are too classy to make a scene. Pamela’s fans, however, are far less forgiving. Social media is ablaze with accusations that Meghan’s show is a blatant copy, right down to the name—Cooking With Love versus With Love, Meghan. Subtlety was clearly not a priority.

The similarities don’t stop at the title. Both shows feature sun-drenched kitchens and a perfectly curated rustic aesthetic. The only real difference? Location. Pamela’s kitchen is set in her own $5 million Vancouver Island estate, while Meghan reportedly rented a home near her $14.5 million Montecito mansion. The visual elements are nearly indistinguishable—wicker baskets, slow-motion shots of honey drizzling, homemade ice cream. The only thing missing is a synchronized dance routine.

Even their cooking philosophies sound eerily alike. Pamela: “I love to cook and take things to the next level.” Meghan: “I love taking something ordinary and elevating it.” It’s as if someone copied a homework assignment but forgot to change the wording. And just to add to the déjà vu, Pamela’s show was commissioned a full year ago, with a trailer released in October 2023—long before Meghan’s cameras started rolling. If there’s any inspiration happening here, it’s looking suspiciously one-sided.

This is just another chapter in Meghan’s ongoing identity crisis. One moment, she’s an outspoken feminist delivering speeches at the United Nations. The next, she’s channeling Martha Stewart, arranging delicate table settings and flitting around her kitchen like a Pinterest mood board brought to life. At least Pamela has consistency—what you see is what you get. Meghan, on the other hand, is still trying to figure it out.

But she did say she’s learning. Maybe by season two, she’ll learn to come up with her own ideas. Until then, Pamela Anderson’s fans are sharpening their knives—figuratively, of course.
