Prince William has openly shared insights into his nighttime routine with Kate Middleton. Unlike some royals of the past, the Prince of Wales has admitted that he and his wife share a bed.
During a visit to Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Cornwall, William revealed a charming detail about their sleeping arrangements. He mentioned to Louise Harland that their little dog sleeps on the bed with them at night. His fondness for dogs was evident when he took a particular interest in Harland’s pet. As reported by BBC Radio Cornwall, William was captivated by the dog and asked about its breed.
Upon learning it was a Cockerjack, he expressed his surprise, noting he had never encountered that unique mix before.
William’s love for animals extends beyond his dog. In 2024, during an event at Woodgate Valley Urban Farm, he spoke about his family’s guinea pigs. While interacting with attendees, he remarked on how different the farm’s guinea pigs were compared to the ones at home. He humorously admitted that he is often responsible for cleaning their cage, as his children tend to forget.
He also observed that the farm’s guinea pigs seemed much calmer, likely due to frequent handling, whereas the ones at home tend to be more skittish. His comments highlighted both his affection for animals and the relatable challenges of pet ownership.
