Prince Harry Shuts Final Door on Reconciliation with King Charles, Says Royal Expert

Prince Harry Shuts Final Door on Reconciliation with King Charles, Says Royal Expert

Royal photographer Arthur Edwards, who has followed the Royal Family for decades, recently shared his thoughts on Prince Harry’s situation. Speaking with The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, Edwards suggested that Harry appears to be adrift, lacking a clear purpose, while Meghan Markle focuses solely on her business endeavors.

Edwards referenced the video Harry released following the court ruling against him in his fight for taxpayer-funded security. In that footage, he recalled, Harry appeared unusually subdued and sorrowful—far removed from his usual confident self.

Reflecting on Harry’s potential regrets, Edwards speculated that the Duke of Sussex may be having second thoughts about how things have unfolded. “All he wanted to do was reconcile with his father,” he said, suggesting that a simple apology during the interview might have shifted the tone and opened the door for healing.

He went further, stepping into Harry’s perspective, and said, “If he had just said, ‘Sorry, Pop, I want to see you,’ it might have made a real difference.” Edwards noted that Harry's words seemed heartfelt, especially given King Charles’ declining health.

The photographer remarked on a noticeable change in Harry’s attitude, especially considering he had remained silent for years. Now, with this unexpected emotional expression, Edwards believes it revealed a deeper inner turmoil.

In the end, Edwards couldn't ignore the sadness that seemed to radiate from Harry. “I thought he looked so sad,” he concluded, painting a picture of a prince who might be realizing the cost of severed ties just a bit too late.
