West filed a response Wednesday to ex-wife Kim Kardashian's request to be declared legally single amid their ongoing divorce, saying he wants safeguards for his assets before a ruling, and claiming Kardashian's attorney rejected all of his requests. suggestions.

West, 44, also wants to ensure no assets are transferred from the trusts they set up, but Kardashian, 41, claims in the documents that such a condition would be "unnecessary" given the terms of their prenuptial agreement. "This is not an extravagant request," the documents state. "This condition simply keeps the parties in the same position they are in now."
