Fans of the acting couple that make up Julia Roberts and George Clooney are in luck. We finally have the trailer for his romantic comedy! Both actors now meet again in Journey to Paradise, a film in which they play a separated couple who tries to prevent the wedding of their daughter, played by Kaitlyn Dever. We will still have to wait a little longer to be able to enjoy their fifth film together, although for now we can see the other four films that Julia Roberts and George Clooney have starred in.
United by Ocean's Eleven
They met for the first time in the Ocean's saga, directed by Steven Soderbergh. George Clooney played Danny Ocean in the trilogy, while Julia Roberts played Tess Ocean in both Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve. Of course, he was absent from his third part, in which George Clooney continued, as well as Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. Interestingly, the couple began the story as an ex-partner, as is now the case in Journey to Paradise.
Julia Roberts and George Clooney met again before the cameras on another occasion, between the first and second installments of the Ocean's saga. This is the movie Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, released in 2002 and also directed by Clooney. Sam Rockwell starred in the film as Chuck Barris, a television producer who was also a CIA assassin. George Clooney and Julia Roberts were part of a cast that also included Drew Barrymore.
Money Monster, the last time we saw them together
More than a decade after their last acting collaboration, Money Monster was released, their last film together. They had already met again in August, but while Julia Roberts was part of a star-studded cast, George Clooney was a producer on that tape. Nothing to do with Money Monster, directed by Jodie Foster. Both got in front of the cameras to give life to another couple, although this time at work: Clooney as the host of a television program and Roberts as its producer.
Fans of the duo have spent quite a few years waiting for them to co-star in a movie again, but the chance has finally arrived. Money Monster was released in 2016, six years ago, and their new film collaboration, Journey to Paradise, is coming soon.
