Brad Pitt is dominated by his addiction to nicotine, he can't quit smoking, and his little children are "driving him crazy", sources close to the actor.
"Brad was smoking (with the electric cigarette) for a while, but lately he's back to smoking up to two packs of cigarettes a day, and no one is more concerned about this than his kids," a 55-year-old friend of the star reported.
"All of them are extremely health conscious and have been taught from a young age that smoking is terrible, even though both parents have been smokers," the insider continued.
Pitt has been under a lot of stress in recent years, as he negotiates a divorce agreement with his ex-partner Angelina Jolie, 44, as well as custody of their six children (Pax, 15; Zahara, 14; Shiloh, 13; and 10-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne).
The source said that while Jon Voigt's daughter actress "managed to give up" smoking "a couple of years ago and the kids were very proud," Brad "is still hopelessly dependent and has them very worried."
Brad Pitt's last major public appearance was in May, during the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere and press conference of "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood." There he made a great appearance with a new "look": a white long-sleeved shirt, a short-sleeved shirt on top, sunglasses, and a cap.
Although he did not only see her smoke on the red carpet, the cigarette also accompanied him to France.
