Rumors about the meeting pointed to a possible reconciliation, but the faces of the actors showed everything
The famous actor's Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met again a few days ago but were photographed by paparazzi for the first time while having a conversation to reach an agreement focused mainly on their children.
And it is that since their separation two years ago, they have maintained a tense relationship avoiding meeting as much as possible and without being able to reach agreements on the pension and custody times of the children.
This is the first time that they have managed to be photographed in one of their meetings, but from what was seen in the photographs they still cannot reach satisfactory agreements for both parties, much less a reconciliation as a couple, everything seems to indicate that there will no longer be back down and only seek to agree for the sake of their children.
The former couple arrived at an office located in Beverly Hills, where they signed the corresponding paperwork, but they also talked about custody and alimony issues, so both had those expressions that reflected the tense moment they were living, said a magazine from shows.
The actor demands 50% custody of his six children, in addition to spending more time with him without the presence of other people, since Angelina hired nannies who are always present when her children visit their father, something that bothers him a lot.
On the postcards, Brad was seen pacing back and forth while Angelina seemed to be upset.
The former couple has left the courts and has tried to seek agreements more informally, however, it does not seem that they will soon reach a truce.
A few months ago, a supposed close friend of Pitt told a magazine that: "Brad has sought to make peace throughout the process and now it seems that they are at a point where they can create a calmer situation for the children."
Pitt and Jolie's judicial drama has been going on for a long time, since the actress filed for divorce on September 20, 2016, after an alleged incident on a plane where Brad apparently used violence with one of Angelina's older children after having ingested alcoholic beverages, it was also said that the actor had problems with this addiction.
After the separation, Jolie became extremely protective of her children and restricted the number and time of visits with the children, although only with five of them: Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and the 10-year-old twins. Knox and Vivienne, while 16-year-old Maddox "by his age and maturity" was able to determine how much time he wanted to spend with his father.
Jolie later muddied the waters further by denouncing that the 54-year-old interpreter did not pay "significant" alimony for a year and a half. The actor's lawyers quickly presented documentation to the court that showed they had paid more than 7 million euros since the separation.
"Angelina created a very difficult situation for Brad and the children," the source told gossip magazine, "and she finally realized that her behavior backfired on her." According to it, Jolie felt "threatened" for wasting time with her children and that is why she decided to "go on the attack". "Unfortunately, everyone in the family has suffered," she added.
According to another source close to the couple, Pitt has come to feel "disgusted" by his ex-wife. They have avoided talking about it, however, he broke his silence in May of last year in an interview where he said:
"I heard a lawyer say, 'No one wins in court, it's just who gets hurt the most.' And that seems to be true," the actor says. "You spend a year building a case to prove your point, to prove them wrong, and it's just an investment in pure hate. I refused to do it and luckily my ex-partner agrees with me," he said.
Recently the actor has been linked to Charlize Theron, while Angelina has focused on herself, her projects, and her family.
