Salma Hayek poses in a lace dress at a Gala event

Salma Hayek apparently shared her fans with an Instagram look – but not in a bad way.

The 56-year-old actress left followers "bugged" by showing off the dress she wore at the Gala event in New York on Wednesday (26). In a short video, she shows that the piece is made with black lace and satin lining and that it has a layer of muslin-like fabric on the skirt.

"Honored," the 'Eternals' star wrote in the post.

While several Hollywood fans and colleagues left praise in the comments field – including actress Zoe Saldaña, who called her friend “beautiful” – some netizens asked what color the dress was. "What do you see? Black and blue? Or white and gold?" asked one person, apparently remembering the lacy dress that went viral on the internet in 2015, after some people saw it as white and black and others as white and gold.

"Blue and black," replied one fan, to which another said, "Looks gray to me."

"At the beginning, I saw black and blue; in the middle, I see white and gold. At the end, I can see red and purple!", analyzed an admirer.

Another opined: "It's white and pink."

"It's like a bluish-gray. If you compare it to the white of her earrings, you realize that [the dress] is not white," observed one more person, while another said: "Beautiful dress, wonderful turquoise color."

"Salma is a great observer and feels everything deeply. She is strong but sensitive and can read people very well," said the 'Volver' star. As one of the first Latinas to work in Hollywood, she opened so many doors for the people who followed her. She's a total revolutionary and there still are. much she will do."
