"John Wick 4" continues to be one of the most-watched movies in Colombia and the world.
"John Wick" is one of the most popular and successful action franchises in recent years. And it is that the saga starring Keanu Reeves (remembered for his role as Neo in "Matrix") became the favorite of many, so much so that the first three films were a worldwide box office success.
What many want to know clearly is the date on which this film will hit theaters. Well, in the case of Colombia, "John Wick 4" continues to be shown in chains such as Cine Colombia, Cinemark, Cinépolis, Procinal, and Royal Films.
Now, after more than a month in movie theaters around the world, the collection figures for this long-awaited film continue to be known. And it is that with almost six weeks on the billboard, the fourth installment of "John Wick" already has 402 million dollars raised worldwide; 176 million in theaters in the United States and Canada and the remaining 226 million in the rest of the world, all this according to data from the specialized portal Box Office Mojo. Only in Colombia, this new installment already totals more than 3.6 million dollars, which speaks of the expectation that it generated among the public in our country.
These figures have placed the fourth installment of the saga starring Keanu Reeves as the most successful in theaters, after surpassing "John Wick" in 2014, when his first film grossed $86 million worldwide. Then, in 2017, "John Wick: Blood Pact" was released, which was even more successful, grossing $171 million. Finally, for "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" in 2019, the saga had already established itself worldwide and achieved an extraordinary figure of 326 million dollars in movie theaters around the world. Also, "John Wick 4" is the third highest-grossing film of 2023, behind only "Super Mario Bros" and "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania."
The synopsis of "John Wick 4", a tape directed by Chad Stahelski, indicates that: "John Wick (Keanu Reeves) discovers a way to defeat the criminal organization The High Table.
