Kevin Costner was blindsided by his wife Christine Baumgartner's divorce filing. The 'Yellowstone' actor had been married to her since 2004.
Kevin's shock was also evident in the statement given by his representative to confirm the divorce news: "It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond your control have occurred and resulted in Mr. Costner in a marriage termination suit.”
In the lawsuit, Christine cites "irreconcilable differences" as the motivation. In a prenuptial agreement, it was stipulated that the woman must vacate Kevin's three homes if they separated; they have none together. Then, she must pack her bags and remove her things from the house, based on a previously defined schedule.
According to the publication, it is still unclear why Christine decided to end the marriage, but the fact is that the action surprised the actor from films such as 'The Messenger (1997) and 'Dances with Wolves (1990).
