The divorce between Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner continues to make headlines in the world of entertainment even though they had already reached an agreement.
The couple, who have three children together, have been waging a tough legal battle since May of this year when the Yellowstone star decided to end their marriage of more than 20 years.
They instantly entered into a seemingly endless legal battle that had already gone through several stages. At first, Kevin Costner's ex-wife refused to leave the property even though the prenuptial agreement detailed that she had to leave the mansion in case of separation.
Finally, Christine Baumgartner was forced to leave the property by a court ruling, an understandable attitude, since the Hollywood actor had offered to help her in the search process, including her expenses.
Now Christine Baumgartner filed a new complaint against her ex-husband for hiding information about her finances. The woman's legal team demanded that Kevin Costner present in detail all the income and businesses he has, as explained in People magazine.
Currently, the Hollywood benchmark pays $129,755 per month, although they will soon have to face each other again in court and the fixed amount will have to be determined there. According to Christine's lawyer, Costner would be avoiding laundering his income just before the new hearing.
Originally, Kevin had proposed spending $38,000 a month for child support. Christine disagreed and made a counteroffer, something Costner calls over the top.
Another topic that is planned to be discussed at the next court date is the viability of the prenuptial agreement that forced Christine Baumgartner to leave the home valued at 145 million dollars since the court considers that when it was signed, in 2004, the finances of both have changed radically.
