Jane Fonda spoke about her personal life and revealed what she has given up on unless she is with a younger man.
The legendary actress and activist Jane Fonda does not hesitate to say what she thinks and she recently made a confession about her private life that surprised more than one. The 83-year-old actress acknowledged that she is not interested in having s*x unless she is with a younger man.
In an interview for Harper's Bazar magazine, she acknowledged that she has no desire to be in a relationship, although she did acknowledge that she sometimes fantasizes. "The problem is, as a man, I would like a younger man," she says. "Isn't that horrible? It's a skin thing. I would like a younger man and I'm too vain."
The Oscar winner has been married three times. Her first relationship was with the French director Roger Vadim, whom she divorced in 1973. That same year she married activist Tom Hayden until 1990, and in 1991 she said yes to Ted Turner, the media magnate and creator of the network CNN.
The protagonist of Grace and Frankie spoke about the relationships she had in the past and confessed that her in**macy was always a problem for her. "It's not them," she explains. "It's me. If a guy had come up and said, 'Come on, Fonda, come here,' she would have run away scared.
In addition, she said that she has always felt attracted to those men who lead a different life than hers. "I'm attracted to people who can teach me things," says Fonda, who likes to experience new things when getting to know someone.
About her last marriage to Ted Turner, she said that she had to learn to hunt, fly fish, and dress at his request. And the actress wanted it that way. "Why be with Ted Turner if you're not going to get sucked into the reality of it and learn from it? And I'm glad I did," Fonda said.
In addition to her recent participation in the hit Netflix series, the actress has been speaking out about climate change, which led to her arrest outside the Capitol in 2019. Most recently she joined the Ojibwe Water Protectors in Minnesota to protest an oil pipeline that crosses indigenous lands.
