US$16 million separates Sofía Vergara from her closest rival on Forbes magazine's list of the highest-paid TV actors in the US.
According to the publication, Vergara earned $42.5 million in the 2017-18 season, well ahead of the top earner, The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons, who earned $26.5 million.
In general, the top ten men earn more than the top ten women, but the gap has closed since last year.
After Sofia Vergara, the next five stars on the list are on The Big Bang Theory.
In addition to Parsons, who plays Sheldon on the CBS comedy, there is also Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard, Kaley Cuoco (Penny), Kunal Nayyar (Raj), and Simon Helberg (Howard), who earned between $23.5 and $25 million each.
But his salary has decreased since last year's list. As The Hollywood Reporter learned in April 2017, pay cuts were made to the cast to give supporting stars Mayim Bialik (Amy) and Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) a raise.
As a result, that couple is now on the list of the top 10 highest-paid actresses for the first time, at $12 million each.
All those salaries won't last much longer, though: The Big Bang Theory will end next year.
Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo was also near the top, with $23.5 million, an increase of $10 million from last year, after signing a new contract with ABC, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Forbes figures include endorsement and licensing deals, as well as salaries for television shows.
Sofia Vergara's total adds up to her contracts with the SharkNinja coffee maker and the Rooms To Go furniture chain, the magazine said.
The top 10 women earned a combined total of $168.5 million between June 1, 2017, and June 1, 2018, according to Forbes. In the previous 12 months, that same figure was $156.5 million.
British star Andrew Lincoln, who made his name on This Life, a BBC drama in the 1990s, joined the top 10 of highest-paid men after earning an estimated $11 million for his role on The Walking Dead.
