The plot revolves around two reporters who are tasked with covering a train accident. Although they don't get along and work for rival newspapers, when they both discover that there is something shadier behind the incident, they decide to join forces.

In a 1993 interview she gave to the New York Times, the celebrity explained about her partner: "From the moment I met him, we gave each other a hard time and, naturally, we couldn't stand each other."
