The actresses were in a mutual interview where they told what the moment was like when they both established a friendship of more than 20 years.
Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston are the actresses who have one of the most established friendships in the industry. Both interviewed for Interview magazine and recounted the moment in which the actresses met for the first time.
According to Aniston, she did not remember the exact year, but it was during a Golden Globes red carpet. The remembered 'Rachel' indicated that it was there when a common ex-boyfriend introduced them. “She introduced us to our ex-boyfriend. And I say 'our' because you and I take a part of that human being," Bullock added, referring to actor Tate Donovan.
That's when Bullock mentioned that she had already seen Aniston on television. “The first thing I thought about you was ‘she is a beautiful woman,’” said the “Miss Sympathy” actress. In addition, she said that the second time they met was during the wedding of another mutual friend.
"I sent you a note, and you reciprocated with a drink," Aniston replied. "I recall we exchanged these gestures multiple times that night. If I'm not mistaken, that was our inaugural foray into getting tipsy together," she remarked.
"Many years have passed since then, and yet here we are, still close and getting along so famously," the "Gravity" actress mused. "Why did it take us so long to form this connection?" she pondered. "I believe everything unfolds in its own time, and I think, for whatever reason, life unfolded in our respective worlds the way it did," Aniston reflected.
