Actor Tom Cruise admitted that one of the causes of his divorce from actress Katie Holmes was Scientology, a controversial religious cult to which he is a devotee.
The recognition is part of a legal document included in the actor's lawsuit against the Bauer publishing group, which published a series of reports in which they accused him of abandoning his seven-year-old daughter.
During questioning about whether Holmes had broken up to protect her daughter Suri from Scientology, Cruise commented: “She said that? That was one of the reasons, yes.” Although Cruise later asked that his statement be changed, insisting: “Katie never told me that was one of the reasons they broke up with her.”
And about the relationship he maintains with little Suri, the actor said: "I have not distanced myself from her life, physically or emotionally, financially or in any other way."

Although little Suri is the apple of her eye, Katie Holmes is "open" to the idea of having more children.
When she was asked in Allure magazine about expanding her family one day, the star said, "I don't know. I'm open to it."
In the interview, the remembered actress from the series Dawson's Creek confessed her desire to become a lawyer.
“My brother and his father are lawyers, and we'll see. “I like the practical thinking of lawyers,” she added.
