Marilyn Monroe's secret that a photographer kept under lock and key

Marilyn Monroe was and will be one of the quintessential divas of Hollywood who knew how to make the entire world fall in love with her. The beautiful blonde who conquered hearts on the big screen and who left this world at a very young age, still continues to create a sensation.

Therefore, the news that a photographer kept part of a big secret about the actress shocked the world. This is Leigh Wiener, one of the most prominent photojournalists in the United States, who in her younger years photographed the great celebrities of the moment.

Wiener was the prelude to what is known as today's paparazzi, however, the man behind the camera saved great material out of respect for the memory and image of Marilyn.

After her death, on August 5, 1962, the diva's body was taken to the Los Angeles morgue. There, the photographer managed to enter the place and take the most impressive photos.

"It wasn't the first time he used a couple of bottles of whiskey to get into a restricted area. He offered them to a couple of guys [at the door] and went in the back," said Devik Wiener, Jr. of the journalist, in the documentary "S---dalous: the death of Marilyn Monroe", according to the Daily Mail.

From her work on the scene, Wiener managed to make five reels of the chilling scene, however she only sent three to Life magazine. The rest of the controversial images were kept by Leigh in a safe deposit box.

Now it is the son of the artist, who died in 1993, who began to reveal this material for the Fox News network and which will be available in the aforementioned documentary.
