The protagonists of the legendary series demonstrate the great affection between them by sharing images of their friendship over the years.
The American actress congratulated her co-star in 'Friends' on her 59th birthday and did so with photographs and outtakes from the series where the chemistry and affection between the two can be seen. Aniston used her Instagram account to wish Cox a happy birthday and gave him a heartfelt congratulations.
“I would like to take a moment and wish my dear CC the happiest of birthdays,” Jennifer began along with a compilation of images and videos from the past, as well as a more current photograph. “If you've been lucky enough to meet her, you know how amazing she is. The biggest and most generous heart of humans. I love you, Cox-N-Hammer! Happy birthday,” she added, along with the emoticons of a heart, a balloon and an emoji with a noise blower.
A message that Courteney responded with “I love you Jenny Louise” accompanied by hearts, which not only shows the great affection between the two, but also the nicknames they call each other. Reese Witherspoon commented on the post saying: “I love this beautiful/talented/brilliant woman so much! Happy Birthday". And Kylie Minogue wrote: “Adorable.”
In the images you can see both sharing the set in the legendary series, in which they can't stop laughing when they act together. One of the times because Cox's character, Monica Geller, accidentally spits on Aniston, Rachel. Also included is an old photograph in which both are kissing and a more recent image which shows that, despite the years, they have kept their friendship intact.
It is not the first time that Aniston has shown her affection for Cox, since in February, when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she wanted to pay tribute to her co-star in a joint speech with Lisa Kudrow, the third actress of the long-running series that aired for ten seasons.
