FINALLY! King Charles DOWNGRADED Harry And Meghan On Royal Family Website Without Any Delay

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's profiles on the official Royal Family website still contain multiple inaccuracies, signaling a need for thorough updates.

FINALLY! King Charles DOWNGRADED Harry And Meghan On Royal Family Website Without Any Delay

Despite recent adjustments to the website, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's pages remain conspicuously unchanged. The discrepancies on Prince Harry's page, as highlighted by the Daily Express in August, persist. Notably, the errors include referring to Prince Harry with the honorific "hrh" and mistakenly labeling the late Queen Elizabeth II as "monik" at least 74 times.

While other sections of the website were promptly corrected, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's profiles continue to state that the couple still holds Royal patronages, splits their time between the UK and North America, and resides at Frogmore Cottage.

This information is outdated and creates an impression of being out of touch, as observed by royal commentator Richard Fitz Williams. He expressed concern over the need for these biographies to be updated to reflect current events or exist in name only, emphasizing that the oversights reflect poorly on the website as a whole.

On a positive note, the page dedicated to members of the royal family has undergone a refreshing update, featuring new pictures of each senior royal. Notably, Princess Katherine's image captures her meeting the Windrush Simu Elders in Cardiff in October. Images of King Charles, Queen Camilla, and Prince William are from around the time of the coronation.

The official portraits, taken in Buckingham Palace's Blue Drawing Room by photographer Hugo Bernard, now reflect seniority within the royal ranks. However, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Prince Andrew have been notably bumped down the list and appear at the bottom of the page.

The website continues to evolve, even as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved on to their own platform, Archewell. Prince Harry's HR title was swiftly removed from his profile page after the Daily Express pointed out the error last year. However, several other inaccuracies persist at the top of the profile page, stating that the couple stepped back as senior members of the royal family in January 2020 and continue to balance their time between the United Kingdom and North America.

Interestingly, a final sentence on the page is a direct copy of Harry and Meghan's original statement when they announced their decision to step back as senior royals, with the only change being the substitution of the late Queen for the king.

This excerpt is now outdated, as the palace has since clarified how exactly their decision would work in practice. Harry retained private patronages, including African Parks, the Henry Venzi Memorial Fund, Invictus Games, Center Bell, and WellChild.

Richard Fitz Williams noted that Meghan's profile page is particularly misleading, as it implies she is still a patron of the National Theater and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Inconsistencies on Harry's page include references to his brother and sister-in-law as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, despite their use of the superior titles of The Prince and Princess of Wales. Additionally, the claim that the next Invictus Games will be held in the HA in 2021 is inaccurate and requires correction.
