Ryan Gosling has made a splash with his appearance on Saturday Night Live and his sketch about having a Cuban wife has conquered the public, and Eva Mendes herself.
Eva Mendes has been amazed by the humor and level of parody that has been marked on Saturday Night Live with the Cuban heritage in her family.
Ryan Gosling was the host this weekend on SNL and starred in a funny joke about the Latin blood of the actress, mother of her two daughters.
The sketch is based on a southern American man, from Tennessee, who ends up becoming a "Cuban daddy" by having a Cuban wife, accent included.
"A Cuban wife can change you," Gosling joked with a Cuban accent and a much darker appearance.
His participation in SNL has not left anyone indifferent and has had memorable moments like this, but also his performance with Emily Blunt singing All Too Well by Taylor Swift and saying goodbye to Ken and his Barbie stage.
Now, his wife Eva Mendes, who inspired the sketch and is actually Cuban, has reacted delightedly to the video.
"Damn! My Cuban Papi has made this Cuban Mami very happy with this!! Years of spending time with my father have paid off," she comments.
"Thank you [adds in Spanish] to the super talented Marcello Hernandez for this sketch. The way you say "Eva Mendes"! And Kenan Thompson always killing it," says Eva.
"I can't wait for the next reunion of this trio," Mendes concludes.
She later used her term again in a video of herself saying: "Hey! Back in LA with my Cuban Papi."
