Meghan Markle seethes with fury as Leonard Media parts ways with her to strike a fresh deal with Queen Camilla's podcast, "The Queen's Reading Room," which has soared in ratings.
In stark contrast, the Royal Family's other known podcaster, Meghan Markle, had her archetype axed by Spotify last spring. Rumor has it that Leonard Media opted to sever ties with Meghan to reclaim Camilla's podcast rights. Given Meghan's apparent disinterest in Queen Camilla, it's doubtful she has anything positive to say about her or her podcast.
Royal author Ingrid Sew revealed, "Camilla's podcast has been a tremendous success. She's proven time and again her ability to attract big names from the world of arts." The upcoming Queen's Reading Room Festival, slated for June 8th, returns due to popular demand. According to a press statement, it will feature stars like Miriam Margolyes and Helena Bonham Carter from Harry Potter, thriller writer Harlan Coben, and a special musical showcase of the comedy operation "Mince."
Literacy promotion is Her Majesty's signature initiative, particularly focusing on childhood literacy, according to a royal insider. Leonard Media, with whom Meghan announced a new deal in February, seems to be fostering cooperation with Queen Camilla by acquiring podcast rights from Lemonada earlier this week. Lemonada canceled Meghan's podcast, pushing back the relaunch of her archetype podcast to 2025.
Queen Camilla made headlines in early 2023 when Prince Harry's memoir featured incendiary passages about her. Her stepson labeled her as dangerous and accused her of using others to deflect negative press. Brand experts saw this as the Queen's perfect revenge for the hurtful remarks made by Harry. Director of Bo Media Denise Palmer Davies commented, "I bet Meghan, in particular, will be livid over the whole thing and probably a bit embarrassed that hers fell at the first hurdle."
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle's fans expressed their opinions about Camilla's podcast. One Reddit user praised Queen Camilla's professionalism and ability to run the podcast smoothly. Another lauded the podcast as a gift to the nation, showcasing a love of reading and featuring diverse guests. In contrast, they criticized Meghan, portraying her as incapable of doing good, which they deemed tragic.
