Hugh Jackman is one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood and in addition to acting he also sings and dances.
But, sometimes, during live performances there are mishaps that one cannot avoid and so he confessed that he once ended up peeing himself. Hugh Jackman is an international star. In addition to acting, he sings and dances, which has given him the opportunity to have a career full of success and to have great projects behind him that have not only transcended Hollywood, but also Broadway.
Currently, the performer of The Greatest Showman is promoting his return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3 alongside his great friend Ryan Reynolds, a highly anticipated film that promises to bring back a very special duo.
Although it seems that Hugh has been doing this all his life and that he performs in front of the cameras and on stage with great self-confidence, it has not always been like this. In fact, at one point in his career he experienced a complicated episode when he peed himself.
The actor told US Magazine that in 1996 while playing Gastón in the production of Beauty and the Beast, he experienced this mishap while performing. Apparently the suit he was wearing with red tights and knee-high boots made him very hot and uncomfortable. If all the physical efforts of each number are added to this, it can lead to something as embarrassing as not holding back the urge to go to the bathroom.
"I go down on stage, getting ready for my first number... and I think I really need to go (to the bathroom) again. I had to do the most cardiovascular song I've ever done: I literally pick up Bella and as I pick her up, I stop singing and just "At that point I realize that the muscles you need to release to be able to sing are the ones you don't want to release if you feel like going," Jackman explained.
His options at that moment were to pee on himself or not finish the song, both were bad but in the words of Hugh Jackman: "The show must go on." So, without much room to decide, he peed on himself. Many years have passed since that incident, but it seems that the actor already has enough skills and that he has learned from this miscalculation.
