The actress used her social networks to express her anger against those who accuse her of undergoing cosmetic surgeries. "I've been the same for 20 years," she said.
Actress Kate Beckinsale, known for starring in the "Underworld" saga, expressed how fed up she was with the constant accusations of having undergone cosmetic surgeries and being obsessed with youth.
Through her Instagram account, she shared two videos of herself with a difference of "20 years easily," accompanied by a lengthy message in response to those who continue to spread these false rumors.
In her publication, Beckinsale lamented the effect of "insidious bullying" and assured that, despite her constant accusations, she has not resorted to cosmetic surgery or used Botox or facial fillers. She even mentioned that a plastic surgeon has publicly stated that she has not undergone such procedures.
The actress expressed her frustration over accusations of looking "plastic" and "unrecognizable," highlighting that these criticisms come mostly from women. Additionally, she shared some of her personal experience, including losing her father at a young age and her struggle with anxiety and panic attacks.
Beckinsale explained that, despite her changing appearance over the years, her biggest concern is not her aging, but overcoming the loss and anxiety that has affected her since she was young.
Despite her vulnerability, she acknowledged that her message probably won't stop the rumors, but she decided to share it to call for an end to virtual bullying. The message concluded with a simple request from the actress: "Please stop now."
