Scarlett Johansson has had a career full of different roles and she is also a businesswoman for a beauty firm, but there is one project that she did not do because it seemed like "a black hole" to her.

Throughout her long career she has played a multitude of characters, some as peculiar as Samantha in Her of Her, an Artificial Intelligence with whom Joaquin Phoenix chats and to which she lends her voice.
However, when OpenAI recently announced that Chat GPT-4o would include voice assistance, whose tone was very similar to Johansson's, the actress released a statement showing her discontent and rejection.
"When I heard the released demo, I was surprised, angry and shocked that Mr. Altman made a voice that sounded so eerily similar to mine, so much so that my closest friends and the media couldn't tell the difference. "Johansson said in a statement published by Variety.
Now, the actress has revealed that last year, Altman himself personally asked her to do the voice of Sky, an offer that she rejected.
"I felt like I didn't want to be in the center of all that," she said in an interview with The New York Times. "I felt like it went against my core values," she said, adding that the businessman only contacted her and that he only told her husband.
"I also felt that it would be strange for my children. I try to be conscious with them," she said about the reasons for her refusal to participate in the project. But when Johansson listened to Sky, she recalled that she "was surreal."
"I had actively avoided being part of the conversation, that's why it was so disturbing. I thought: How did I get into this? It was crazy. I was very angry," she said the moment she realized it, also joking that Altman would be a good Marvel villain "maybe with a robotic arm."
And the movie star doesn't even have a presence on social media because she doesn't want to share her life with a group of strangers. Ultimately, OpenAI paused Sky's voice after Johansson complained.
"It's like a dark wormhole that you can never get out of," she said of the AI. "Once you try to delete something in one area, it appears in another place. There are other countries that have different laws and rules. If your ex-partner posts revenge porn and deepfake, your whole life can be completely ruined," he warned about something that has very present, since in 2011 nude photos of her that she had on her cell phone were leaked.
