Among those recognized was Alex Holmes, the deputy CEO of The Diana Award, a charity established in memory of Princess Diana. Holmes, 36, was awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his dedicated work supporting young people, particularly through his efforts in anti-bullying initiatives. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping school programs aimed at fostering a safer and more inclusive environment for children and teenagers. The prestigious honor was announced in King Charles III’s New Year Honours List, published on January 1.

Prince William, however, did not accompany his wife on this occasion, as his own royal commitments, including the investiture ceremony, required his attention.
