Thomas Markle EXPOSES Meghan Markle's Cooking Show

Meghan Markle is back in the spotlight, and this time, she’s stepping into the kitchen with a dash of sentimentality. However, her father, Thomas Markle, isn’t having any of it. If there’s anyone who won’t hesitate to call Meghan out, it’s dear old dad.

Thomas Markle EXPOSES Meghan Markle's Cooking Show

In a candid interview with the Daily Mail, Thomas didn’t hold back, rolling his eyes at the notion that Meghan has suddenly embraced the role of domestic goddess. According to him, the entire thing is just another carefully crafted performance for the cameras. “Unfortunately, Meghan has never been authentic,” he stated bluntly. That’s not criticism from the tabloids or the public—it’s from her own father. That one’s got to sting.

Then there’s the jam-making spectacle. On screen, Meghan grew sentimental, reminiscing about her late grandmother Doris and how she hopes her children, Archie and Lilibet, will associate the scent of simmering fruit with home. Heartwarming? Maybe. But Thomas isn’t convinced. He claims that if his mother were alive, she would be devastated to see Meghan essentially disown the Markle name. “My mom loved Meghan very much, but she would be so disappointed to hear that Meghan no longer wants to use the name Markle,” he lamented. “She was proud to be a Markle. So am I. But now, I have to say I’m Meghan Sussex’s dad. Imagine that.” Raising a child, supporting them through private school, paying for an elite university education, and receiving complete erasure in return—it’s no wonder Thomas feels slighted. Not even a simple name drop as acknowledgment.

Now, let’s talk about Meghan’s so-called culinary skills. Apparently, she has a rather unconventional way of making spaghetti—one that would leave any chef shaking their head. Instead of the standard method of boiling water first, Meghan reportedly throws everything—raw pasta, water, and vegetables—into a single pan and lets it cook together. Thomas was incredulous. “Who makes spaghetti like that?” he scoffed. “It’s the most basic thing.” And let’s not forget the garden party menu. Nothing says a fun childhood meal quite like edible flowers sprinkled over food, right? No chicken nuggets, no mac and cheese—just petals and vibes. As a father who actually raised a child, Thomas knows better. Kids aren’t clamoring for floral-infused dishes; they want food they can recognize and enjoy. Even Archie, supposedly a bacon enthusiast who dashes outside at the mere mention of it, would likely prefer a grilled cheese sandwich over a plate of aesthetically arranged petals.

Despite his clear disappointment, Thomas hasn’t even watched the full show. He’s only seen clips online, but even with that limited exposure, the scripted nature of the production is glaringly obvious. Everything feels pre-planned, overly polished, and about as authentic as a Hollywood set. Thomas Markle isn’t a perfect man, but let’s be honest—he deserves better than being completely erased from his daughter’s life. He adored her, he spoiled her, and in return, she has chosen to act as though he never existed, all while curating an exclusive, invitation-only pity party for herself and her inner circle.

There’s an undeniable irony in all of this. Meghan, a woman who seemingly struggles to maintain relationships outside of her PR team, is now trying to sell the world on an image of love, family, and home-cooked meals. Given her track record, she might be better off sticking to the jam-making charade and leaving the cooking to those who actually know what they’re doing. And before wrapping this up, let’s take a moment to appreciate that Thomas, in all his criticisms, never once mentioned Sizzler. For someone who once claimed her father could barely afford the salad bar at the beloved restaurant, you’d think she’d at least throw in a nostalgic nod. But much like Meghan and the Markle name, some things are apparently best left in the past.
