Grant Harrold, the King’s former butler, told the media on behalf of Slingo, as reported by OK! Magazine, that Charles appeared more confident than any other royal family member. Harrold noted that the King faces less pressure during such events because of his decades of preparation and experience, stating, “He’s doing the job he’s been trained to do.”
According to the New York Post, this year’s Trooping the Colour came at a crucial time, with the monarchy needing to project stability and strength. An insider source told the outlet, “It’s a show of strength. The King is serving his country, and he’s not going to let a diagnosis get in the way of that.”
