Archie Harrison is only six months old, but it seems the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's firstborn is already the cutest rugby fan around. Prince Harry attended an event for the Terrence Higgins Trust in London, where he received a lovely gift for his little one: a Harlequins jersey with his name on it.
Meghan Markle's husband visited Twickenham Stoop Stadium ahead of National HIV Testing Week. The event was attended by members of the professional English rugby team as well as former player Gareth Thomas, who revealed last September that he is living with HIV.
Archie was born on May 6, and since making his first public appearance, he has melted millions of hearts around the world.
Comparisons between Princess Diana's grandson and his father were immediate, and for many, there is no doubt that they look exactly alike.
You need only look at the following photos to see for yourself. The first shows Archie during his first visit to South Africa in September of this year, while the second shows Prince Harry when he was just a baby. In both instances, the babies are in their mothers' arms.
The photo on the left shows Princess Diana holding Prince Harry, who was just seven months old at the time. The picture was taken on May 5, 1985, during Prince Charles and Diana's tour of Venice, Italy. In the photo on the right, Archie was four months old. While attending the WellChild Awards in mid-October, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that little Archie had inherited his father's hair color.
"Meghan said Archie has strawberry-blonde hair, and Harry agreed, noting that you could see it clearly in the color of his eyebrows," recounted Angela, one of the mothers who had the chance to speak with the royal couple.
During an event in Windsor, England, Prince Harry hinted that he and Meghan Markle might already be thinking about expanding their family.
The royal couple surprised neighbors by showing up at a coffee morning organized for military families at the Broom Farm Community Centre, located in the heart of the region's infantry community. Windsor is home to several regiments, including the Coldstream Guards, the Welsh Guards, and members of the Household Cavalry.
During the visit, the Duke and Duchess spoke with the families of those serving their country; at one point, Harry—who served in the military for 10 years—reflected on how much he would miss his son, Archie Harrison, if he had to be away from him for an extended period.
"I can't imagine what it's like to miss so much, when they change so fast," the late Princess Diana's son told ITV News.
Regarding the royal baby, Harry also mentioned that the six-month-old is already crawling, and Meghan told a young girl she met that Archie already has teeth.
Throughout the event, the British royals happily mingled with various children, enjoying cupcakes and drinks.
Susie Stringfellow, a military spouse, revealed to the aforementioned network that "Harry was really interested in what it's like to have a second child." "We were trying to encourage him to have a second baby," the woman recounted.
For the moment, neither Harry nor Meghan has said anything definitive on the matter, but they could surprise us at any time.
