The 54-year-old protagonist of 'Frida' participated as a guest in the show for Facebook 'Red Table Talk' hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith , Adrianne Banfield-Norris and Willow Smith and in it they talked about menopause, where Salma assured that since the 40 years has been experiencing the symptoms of the end of menstrual cycles.
"I had to take a test, and the questions were scary. They asked me things like, 'Are your ears growing and hair growing? Are you growing a mustache and beard? Are you easily irritable? Are you crying for no reason? You gain a lot of weight so fast that it doesn't go away no matter what you do? Are you shrinking?
Likewise, she took the opportunity to clarify the rumors that had emerged in recent months that she had received breast implants to increase her breasts, explaining that they began to grow significantly once she reached menopause.
"For some women they get smaller, but there are others that when they gain weight, their breasts grow," she explains, noting that her breasts also enlarged after giving birth. "In some cases in menopause, they grow back, and I happen to be one of those women. A lot of people say I had them augmented and I don't blame them. My breasts were smaller, just like the rest of my body."
She also highlighted that due to these changes in her body, she has presented some health problems. "My back has really been hurting from it and not many people talk about it."
