We reveal for the first time on the big screen the great Australian actress Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie was born on July 2, 1990, in Gold Coast, Queensland (Australia). In her teens she moved to Melbourne to become an actress, making her film debut in 2008 with an action film directed by Aash Aaron and titled "Vigilante". This would be her first film appearance as such, but her career had only just begun.
The same year she achieved the role of Donna Freedman in "Neighbors", a famous Australian television series in which she remained until 2011. On the big screen, she was directed again in her country by Aash Aaron in the thriller "I.C.U." (2009). And Later she filmed with British capital “A Question Of Time” (2013), a romantic fantasy with Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson.
However, her rise to international fame and her first scene in the cinema came from the hand of Martin Scorsese who gave her a role as the main female character in "The Wolf of Wall Street" (2013), a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio. The scene in which Margot Robbie appeared required her to get out of it by playing the character completely disproven though the directors gave her the option of filming in a robe, she wanted to make it as natural as a complete N-.
As she confessed in an interview for The New York Times, I had three shots of tequila and then I took off my clothes and did the scene, and I was fine. It helped keep my hands from shaking and gave me a bit of confidence."
Since then the Australian has not stopped working. In 2014 she participated in "French Suite". In "Focus" (2015) she shared credits with Will Smith. A year later she played Jane in "The Legend of Tarzan" (2016), and she became Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad" (2016). In 2017, she premiered "Yo, Tonya" (2017), playing the skater Tonya Harding. She also played the English queen Elizabeth I in "Mary, Queen Of Scots" (2018); and she became actress Sharon Tate in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood" (2019). The same year Margot intervened in "El Escándalo (Bombshell)" (2019), a film for which she was nominated for an Oscar for best supporting actress. She returned to play Harley Quinn in "Birds of Prey" (2020) and in "The Suicide Squad" (2021). And in 2022 she returned to the series "Neighbors" and released "Amsterdam" (2022).
