Sarah Paulson felt trapped
The actress who gave life to the wonderful Lana Winters has made some recent statements in which she admits that she fully regrets having starred in one of the seasons of the series. Her participation in 'Roanoke', the sixth season, did not make her entirely happy and she decided to tell it during an interview.
“I don't like it very much this season. I know people are going to be mad at me, but she came on right after playing Marcia in American Crime Story. She did 'Roanoke' right after. I was disappointed in the experience because I felt like I had entered a new stage in my life where I thought I could do other things as an actress."
To all this, Sarah Paulson adds the fact that she felt "pressured" to continue making new seasons of the series because of her corresponding employment contract.
“I felt trapped in my responsibility and my contractual obligation with ‘American Horror Story. As much as that show is my home, and as much as I love everything I did there, season six was the first one I didn't like. I feel like I should have talked to Ryan and said, 'Please leave me out of this"
After taking a short break, Sarah Paulson returns to 'American Horror Story'. The actress will star in the new season of her along with actors like Macaulay Culkin, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, and Angelica Ross. ‘American Horror Story: Double Feature’ will tell two stories in one and will land in the United States on August 25.
