“The golden rule is to keep sugars to less than 5 grams per serving and net carbs to 15 per serving,” said the specialist.
Choosing the right proteins
It is not a matter of mere taste. “Make sure you have adequate protein (because protein keeps you satisfied so you control hunger),” she said.
Prefer carbohydrates with fiber
"She (Kim) is focused on controlling carbohydrates, she knows what to do when she wants to lose weight, she knows what things are best for her and what carbohydrates to choose," she commented, and in this sense, the ideal is always to opt for carbohydrates rich in fiber such as brown rice or legumes, for example.
Include healthy fats
Try to include a portion of healthy fats in your meals, even if it is minimal. Avocado, olive oil, seeds, and vegetables, among others, are good sources.
