The well-to-do ex-couple has been reunited in Los Angeles with her daughter, Stella del Carmen, one day before the Oscars.
Antonio Banderas met Melanie Griffith and her daughter Stella in Los Angeles. A beautiful moment between a well-known ex-partner and his daughter that the actor from Malaga wanted to share with his Instagram followers.
The actor has traveled to Los Angeles to attend the 95th Oscars ceremony that will be delivered tomorrow at the Dolby Theater and in which the Hollywood Film Academy has entrusted him with the task of delivering an award at the gala. A trip that he has taken advantage of to meet with Melanie and Stella. They have shared a lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel and the three have been photographed together. Banderas is accompanied by his partner Nicole Kimpel who, however, does not appear in the snapshot.
Who knows if she is the photographer in charge of immortalizing this moment which, by the way, has received tens of thousands of likes and applause in the form of comments from, among others, Boris Izaguirre or Paloma Cuevas. It would not be surprising, since Nicole adores Stella, with whom she was able to share time during the months that the young woman settled in Malaga to work as an assistant director at Antonio's theater, Soho Caixa Bank. After the premiere of the musical Company, she returned to her life in Los Angeles.
Very discreet, we have just learned that she has returned with Alex Gruszynski, her first love, after having broken up with Eli Meyer, son of one of the most powerful men in Hollywood, Ronald Meyer. Nicole and Melanie get along great. "She is a wonderful person," said the German of Tippi Hedren's daughter who, for her part, has supported Banderas' girlfriend by wearing one of her bags. Whenever he has the opportunity, Banderas flatters his ex-wife, with whom he was married for 18 years and raised a large family.
They had Stella but Melanie's children, Dakota Johnson and Alexander Bauer, the fruit of their marriages to Don Johnson and Steven Bauer, also grew up with them. "Melanie and I continue to love each other. We stopped working together and decided to separate, but the love endure I will continue to love Melanie until she dies or until I die," Antonio Banderas said.
The last time we saw them together, at the presentation of Dolor y Gloria in Los Angeles in 2019, Melanie gave a speech praising Antonio as an actor and a partner: “I just want to say that in the 20 years that you and I and our children live together you did not encourage to do it with passion. As if every day was a piece of art. Because passion is your art, and your art is your life”. A year later, Stella shared a very special night with Nicole and Antonio in which Banderas was nominated for an Oscar for his role in the Almodóvar film.
