Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were together for more than a decade and had 3 children together.
Now, Garner is preparing for the premiere of her new project for Apple TV +, and in a recent interview, she opened up, revealing what her children actually think about her.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were one of the most talked about couples in Hollywood for more than 13 years until they divorced in 2018 and decided to go their separate ways.
From her beautiful marriage, her three children were born: Violet, 17, who you can see in the video above in her recent first public appearance, Seraphina Rose, 14, and little Samuel, 11.
Even though a couple of actors ended their relationship years ago, both have maintained a beautiful friendship, thus demonstrating that their priority from the beginning has been their children.
Now, the 50-year-old actress is in full promotion of her next project, the new miniseries for Apple TV +, 'The Last Thing He Told Me', and has reflected in a recent interview for the magazine on how the series reflects reality as a mother of 3 children.
And it is that fiction tells the story of Hannah, a woman who will do the impossible to establish a good relationship with Bailey, her complicated teenage stepdaughter, to find her husband who has mysteriously disappeared.
"I think my children feel that way," she began by saying that her children think she is an extra. "They would tattoo it without thinking, it's a fact."
"You know, they're amazing teens but I've been able to feel the moments where my character is holding her tongue and just praying for calm," Garner explains.
"That being said, once again, I am very close with my children and have some amazing teenagers," she says. "I read the book of the series with my daughter Seraphina every night before going to bed," she has confessed, referring to Laura Dave's novel with the same name from the production.
"We were forced to continue reading. It is very important to read the adaptation book because of all that is at stake. In the end, it is a very tender love story between a woman and her stepdaughter," she continued.
Garner is joined in this new project by 22-year-old actress Angourie Rice, who will play the young teenager on screen. "I really love her," the interpreter has finished saying about her partner Rice from her.
Apparently, this feeling is mutual and that is that in a recent interview for ET, Rice herself praised Garner's incredible work. "I was so nervous to meet her," the young woman began by admitting.
"She was so kind, welcoming, and warm. She really confirmed everything I'd already heard about her, that she's just a ray of sunshine. That's exactly how I felt working with her," he continued.
"She went into this project knowing her character, knowing the story inside out. She had a copy of the book with her at all times. It was folded, annotated, and underlined," Rice recalled.
"But I think what Jen is really good at is making everyone feel included and part of a team," the young interpreter finished assuring her partner.
