Piers Morgan Says Meghan Markle's Controversial Interview Is 'Impossible To Believe'

"Here we are a month later and frankly I've had a long time to think about this, I still don't believe anything they were saying," he said. "Seventeen different claims by the two have now been shown to be completely false or grossly exaggerated or improbable."

"I don't understand why I should have to believe people who aren't telling the truth."

He did not specify which of his claims were inaccurate.

At Markle's meeting, she alleged that the royal family prevented her from fending off attacks by UK tabloids.

that the Palaces did not treat her and Harry with the same respect that Prince William and Kate Middleton or other members of the United Kingdom did.

Morgan added that if the allegations involving the royal family are true, Markle should name names so the issues can be dealt with properly.

She said: "If you're going to accuse someone of racism, you better put down some facts."

Morgan stated that he does not doubt the severity of Markle's mental health issues, saying, "It's not for me to say that she felt suicidal."

However, he said he does not believe the Duchess of Sussex has spoken to anyone in the royal family or the house about her mental health, describing how he finds it "impossible to believe" that someone would tell a suicidal woman that she is "not You are allowed to get help."

Furthermore, he said that if Markle was indeed suicidal, then Prince Harry should share the blame, as he is an outspoken advocate for mental health.

Regarding claims that an unnamed member of the royal family raised questions about Archie Harrison's skin tone.

Morgan said that viewers cannot know the truth without knowing the "context of that conversation." He added: "We just don't know, and we don't even know who is supposed to have said that."

The journalist indicated that he was particularly angry at the suggestion that Archie did not receive a title because of his skin color, because from his perspective, he is "completely false."

"It's not just a feeling that his lived experience is false. It's actually wrong," Morgan explained. "That boy was never going to be a prince until Prince Charles, Harry's father, becomes king after the death of the queen. And that will happen, whatever the skin color of Archie's mother. That is written in stone. It's been the case for 100 years."
