Social media is not ready to witness two (single) stars of the caliber of Tom Cruise and Shakira together in one place... and walking together! Because it was exactly this situation that ended up occurring at the Miami International racetrack and that made fans of the Colombian singer and the star of 'Top Gun' ship the artists. Dreaming costs nothing, right?
The 60-year-old actor was seen with the singer both on the walk of the stars in the paddock and in the stands at the race track when they were joined by one of the Colombian's sons with Spanish defender Gerard Piqué. Cruise would have been at the coronation ceremony of King Charles III, but ended up doing “only” a video appearance, in which he honors the monarch, saying that he could be his “co-pilot”.
Shakira recently returned to the United States after completing her divorce and establishing custody of her ex Piqué after a troubled separation with the right to infidelity on the part of the former player, accusations of aggression against the singer by her mother-in-law and a reduction in her father's visit to the children.
As to be expected, fans couldn't contain themselves and commented on the appearance of the stars in public. “Wow, with that Tom there is no Mission Impossible”, joked an internet user. "I don't want to join Scientology", wrote a fan of the singer in a fictitious lip-reading scene of the two. "#SalPique" was also one of the most shared hashtags with the images, a pun that can be translated as "Vaza, Pique" and which is used - including by the Colombian woman - to throw that shade at her ex.
Later, still, on Sunday, Shakira had her entire career - not just the separation, say - recognized by the Woman of the Year award at Billboard Latin Women in Music. She was one of the main honorees of the night, alongside Thalía, who won the Global Powerhouse Award, and Ana Gabriel, who took the Living Legend Awards.
