The Breaking Bad actors became addicted to their own glass

Since it premiered back in 2008, Breaking Bad has become one of the most acclaimed series in history. The story of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman left all viewers speechless with its character development and Vince Gilligan's careful direction in most of the chapters.

Both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were vital to the success of the series, and filming the series was quite an ordeal for them. Being so close to a drug as addictive as Heisenberg's blue methamphetamine caused the protagonists themselves to try it at some point in the series, although don't worry, it's not what you all think.

This is how Bryan Cranston tells it during an interview (or challenge) on the First We Feast channel, where he describes the moment he tried Breaking Bad's blue methamphetamine for the first time.

"I told him, 'What are you doing? You can't eat the product, are you really getting high with this?', to which he replied 'It's sugar, have you tried it?'. 'No, I haven't tried it', I replied, to which he said 'Oh, well you should try it', which I refused.

I guess he was still in character because Walter White wouldn't, but he insisted, so I finally ended up trying one... And he was pretty hot. So, to everyone's surprise, we ate all the meth."

The actor commented that the blue meth was actually cotton candy flavored candy. It seems that Paul discovered this secret, but it wasn't until several seasons later that Cranston himself dared to try the famous drug.
