Several Taylor Swift romances have been made public, however, the singer has always kept her relationship with her boyfriend, actor Jay Alwyn, private.
Both were first seen together in 2017, and since then they have formed one of the lowest-profile couples in the show, and now, the interpreter has revealed why they like everything to stay that way.
In an interview with The Magazine, Joe Alwyn talked about how he keeps his relationship with Taylor Swift out of the public eye. "It's not really (because) I want to be protected and in private, it's more of a response to something else," the interpreter began to say.
“We live in an increasingly intrusive culture. The more you give, and frankly, even if you don't, something will be taken away from you." He added about his relationship with the popular singer.
A few weeks ago, Joe Alwyn also revealed to Deadline more details about his affair with Swift. At the time he was asked about the idea of being in an open relationship.
“I think people can do what they want and it makes them happy. Obviously, I'm happy in a monogamous relationship,” he noted.
About his relationship with the cinema, he said: “I have always grown up with my father showing me movies and I have always liked going to the cinema. And my mother had taken me to the theater a lot, so she always wanted to be a part of that world in some way, but she didn't quite know how or how to do it.”
But besides being an actor, he is also talented in music, as he has helped Taylor Swift create some of her songs.
The singer even revealed that he was involved in the composition of her latest albums 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' under a secret alias.
