The composer of 'Shivers' is known to like to give away gigantic phallic pieces.
Sam Smith - who calls himself non-binary and uses gender-neutral pronouns - was given a giant penis by his friend and colleague Ed Sheeran. The 30-year-old pop star thought it was a "joke" when the large marble phallic statue arrived at his home as a gift from the composer of 'Shivers'.
"It was wild, I thought it was a joke, but it's a seven-foot marble penis. It weighs two tons, so I'm going to have to crane it into my house."
The 'Stay with Me' singer added that the goal is to turn the statue into a "fountain", although that could prove difficult.
During his stint on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', Sam stated, "I want to make her a source, which I think is going to be hard to do."
Sam isn't the first person Ed has sent one of the gigantic pieces of art to, as Elton John has been known to have one as well.
"He gives people concrete penises. I'm not the first - Elton had the first," Sam Smith described.
During a segment of the broadcast, the British artist and Kelly tried to come up with a name for the marble statue, suggesting the Duke of Hastings, a rare character from the hit Netflix series 'Bridgerton'.
"We should put a name together. Phillip? Kevin?" Sam said. Kelly replied, "How appropriate! Kevin reminds me of 'Home Alone', so he seems a bit weird to me. No, let's think of one. A good one. Duke of Hastings? He Sounds great and six-two! Do you like 'Bridgerton'?"
Finally, Sam added, "I like it! I liked 'Bridgerton', yes I do. Duke of Hastings is nice."
