The actress and idol of the 90s tried to undergo psychiatric treatment after the controversial episode last April.
Amanda Bynes is remembered for her successful work in the 1990s and 2000s when she became one of the teen stars of the moment. She got her to start on the Nickelodeon series, All That, which ran for four years, and then starred in her own series, The Amanda Show.
Her fame and popularity led her to be one of the most sought-after teen actresses of the moment, participating in a large number of movies. But also to a life of excesses of alcohol and drugs that ended up costing her career.
In 2010, Amanda Bynes had just starred in the romantic comedy Easy A when she announced that she would be taking a hiatus from acting and she hasn't returned since. A few years ago she assured me that her desire was there but it never materialized.
Last weekend it was learned that the actress was again admitted to a center located in Orange County, where she will receive intensive care to deal with some of her addiction and bipolar problems. It all came as a result of the fact that last April she was found walking totally N- through the streets of Los Angeles and, it was learned, she had had a psychotic episode.
This led to outpatient treatment with some temporary admissions to rehabilitation, but she was admitted despite the recommendations of city professionals who saw her as "a danger to herself and to others." However, beyond the progress that those who were treating her assured that she had in recent months, the actress decided to leave that form to enter the aforementioned specialized center and receive 24-hour care.
According to TMZ, Amanda Bynes has problems dealing with loneliness, so she preferred to be accompanied all the time, to make better progress in her treatment and to interact with other patients, to develop her social skills. It was also learned that even though her mother no longer has legal custody of her since last year, they are supporting her in this difficult decision.
