Jay Mohr revealed the reason why he hated working with Jennifer Aniston

For many actors, it is a dream to star in a movie with Jennifer Aniston. However, for actor Jay Mohr it became a nightmare during the filming of Picture Perfect (1997).

Jay Mohr had already suffered rudeness from Adam Sandler, who had denied him a handshake for comments he had made about the actor.

The problems between Mohr and Aniston in Picture Perfect began when Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend at the time, Tate Donovan, did not get the lead role in the film, which went to Mohr.

Aniston's mood changed completely when Mohr was cast in the role. Jay Mohr later recounted how Jennifer Aniston made filming Picture Perfect a nightmare for him.

The 1997 romantic comedy was a box office success, grossing $44 million when it had cost just $18 million. However, behind the scenes, things were not easy.

According to Jay Mohr, Aniston made it clear from the beginning that she was not interested in working with him. "It was very difficult to be on the set of a movie where the leading lady was not happy with my presence and she made that clear to me from day one," Mohr recalled.

Mohr added that his lack of experience also led to Aniston's outbursts between takes. "She hadn't done many movies and somehow she got the lead. Aniston was like, 'No way! You've got to be kidding!" out loud between takes. I had a really bad time," the actor said.

Rumor has it that Aniston's anger was linked to her boyfriend at the time, Tate Donovan, not getting the lead role in the film. Mohr, for his part, acknowledged that at the time he had a reputation for being an "asshole," which may have influenced Aniston's attitude.
