Kirsten Dunst hated filming the Love scene with Colin Farrell

This film was no exception and the actress had to perform a very unpleasant scene with Colin Farrell.

Kirsten Dunst is an extremely talented actress and dedicated to her work, and she always manages to amaze with her on-screen performances. Over the years, she has starred in all kinds of movies and has shown her versatility in various genres such as drama, action, and romance.

As usually happens in most productions, the actress had to perform some romantic scenes with her co-stars and, as she has stated on different occasions, they were not pleasant. In 2017, Kirsten Dunst became one of the leads in The Seducer, a period thriller directed by Sofia Coppola and starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell, and Elle Fanning.

The story is set in 1864 during the American Civil War. There, a girls' school is altered with the arrival of John McBurney (Colin Farrell), a wounded soldier whom the girls take in and care for. However, as they develop a relationship with him, their jealousy and competition for his attention also begin to increase, leading them to extremes.

The film is a remake of the film of the same name released in 1971 and starring Clint Eastwood. And in this version of Sofia Coppola, Kirsten Dunst plays Edwina Dabney, the school teacher, and one of the women who falls victim to the charms of Colin Farrell's character.

Because it is a film loaded with drama and romance, The Seducer had several risqué moments, and several of its protagonists had to film scenes with Colin Farrell, including Kirsten Dunst. However, the actress revealed that she had a really hard time filming it and hated every second of it.

The truth is that it is not the first time that the 41-year-old actress has spoken out against this type of scene. "I don't like it, I don't like it. To be honest, I always say 'Let's finish it soon as possible,' ”she confessed in an interview while promoting The Seducer. It should be clarified that her disagreement with these types of scenes does not lie in her co-stars, so the problem was not with Colin Farrell, but in general, these scenes are very uncomfortable for her.

In addition, the scene in which both actors star is one of the most risque in the film and takes place on the floor, so the actress did not feel good doing it at all. Even so, Kirsten highlighted something positive about it and that was that fortunately, Sofia Coppola was the one behind the camera.

“Directors always want to shoot those scenes from all angles. At least Sofia comes along and says 'We're going to do this fast, we're just going to shoot here, we'll do three takes and that's it,'' the actress said. Over the years, the actress and director have collaborated on several films together, including, The Suicidal Virgins (1999) and Marie Antoinette (2006), so there was a lot of trust between them.
