Prince Harry felt "ignored" on his recent visit to the UK
The celebrations framed within the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, which reached seventy years on the throne, became the perfect pretext for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to return to the United Kingdom after abandoning their obligations to the Crown. It seemed that his return was translated into a peace signing with his family, but the latest information published by some English tabloids points to the opposite. Apparently, the Duke of Sussex would be "furious" after he visits his homeland.
This is stated by the 'Daily Mail', one of the best-known British newspapers. Angela Levin, a biographer specializing in the English Royal House who spent a year with Prince Harry, told the aforementioned outlet that the Duke of Sussex might have felt "ignored" by his family during his visit to the United Kingdom and considers that he owes him "an apology."
The truth is that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex only allowed themselves to be seen publicly one of the several days that the Platinum Jubilee celebrations lasted, and although they were able to meet with Queen Elizabeth II, it is said that the monarch expressly prohibited taking photographs of her meeting.
Apparently, always according to what Angela Levin stated, Prince Harry expected more prominence in his return to the United Kingdom, but he found a reception that he considered not very effusive and pompous. In addition, the biographer points out that both he and Meghan Markle could have been upset by Queen Elizabeth II's refusal to be photographed with her great-granddaughter Lilibet, and accuses them of seeking that image at all costs to later "sell" it or use it in the documentary that Netflix is producing about them.
“It seems to me that they were really like two petulant teenagers. If they didn't get what they wanted, they would leave early," Levin told the Daily Mail.
Other royal experts have pointed out in recent days that Prince Harry could feel "depressed" by everything he has left behind after the controversial Megxit. At the only Platinum Jubilee celebration where he and Meghan Markle were present, they were relegated to the back seats, a low-key position the Duke of Sussex would not have liked. In fact, it is said that they did not participate in the rest of the festivities because, once again, they were denied the possibility of occupying the central banks, reserved for the most active members of the Crown.
