There are many cultural initiatives that are being set up in a totally altruistic way now that we have to live through difficult times. And that is precisely what has led actress Amy Adams to decide to finally open an account on Instagram, where she has just announced that in collaboration with her friend Jennifer Garner she will use her profile from today to upload videos in which she and other stars from Hollywood will do everything possible so that the little ones don't get bored now that they have to stay at home.

“We have to shine a light on all the children who need our support in these difficult times. That's why we created @savewithstories, a place where your favorite celebrities will read children's stories," explains Adams, who also asks followers who can afford it to make donations that will go to the children of families whose economy will be affected during these weeks.

“We are mobilizing as a community to support a new combined fund between the solidarity organizations SAVE THE CHILDREN and Share Our Strength’s No Hungry. In the United States, 30 million children depend on school to feed themselves. The closure of schools will hit the most vulnerable communities hard, and that is why they need our help,” claims the actress.

“The funds raised will help families know how to find food when schools are closed. Also to pay for food trucks to distribute it, supply food banks and other community feeding programs; as well as providing educational toys, books and study programs outside of school hours to help children make up for lost time in the classroom,” she describes.

Without a doubt, a very necessary cultural and solidarity initiative that, unfortunately, in Spain only children who know English and therefore understand the stories read to them will be able to take advantage of it. Although well seen, it is still a unique opportunity for them to begin to become familiar with the language.
