The sc--dal in the Spanish crown grows and Queen Letizia is increasingly complicated. Meanwhile, from the Zarzuela Palace they continue without expressing themselves on the issue.
The sc--dal of Queen Letizia Ortiz and her ex-brother-in-law Jaime del Burgo continues to give people something to talk about. Apparently new information would indicate that the monarch had cheated on her husband with more men.
It all began with the testimony of the alleged lover who told his story to Jaime Peñafiel in his book Letizia and I, where he stated that he had an affair with the wife of King Felipe VI of Spain on two occasions, once before becoming queen and the second being already married to her current husband.
The controversy escalated when Jaime del Burgo uploaded to his Twitter account a photo that Queen Letizia Ortiz had sent him along with the message that she had written to him, where he implied that she was pregnant by him.
This would have led many people to speculate whether King Felipe VI of Spain was actually the father of Princess Leonor or even both daughters the couple has. It even emerged that they had ordered a DNA analysis to determine this scientifically.
Now, new information could indicate that Queen Letizia would have been unfaithful with more men than Jaime del Burgo, or so the monarch's lover himself would have claimed, as explained by the writer Jaime Peñafiel.
“In the book I count 1%. What I keep silent about is the most inti--te part. According to Jaime del Burgo, Letizia had more extramarital affairs than his. Felipe is a poor man, he has no character. She is bossy. She cannot have the life she wants,” explained the Spanish writer.
He also added: “The marriage is going through a bad situation. It is not new. It has been known that Letizia is an unfaithful wife. The love of her life is Jaime. He is my informant. The topic comes up now for revenge, possibly.”
At the moment, the Zarzuela Palace continues without giving statements, which would be generating speculation that it could all be true and they do not want to speak until they have defined how to proceed.
