Brad Pitt is dominated by his addiction to nicotine, it is impossible for him to stop smoking, and it is "driving crazy" his young children, reported sources close to the actor cited by the Magazine.
"Brad was smoking (with the electric cigarette) for a while, but lately he has gone back to smoking up to two packs of cigarettes a day, and no one is more worried about this than his children," reported a friend of the star, 55, to the show site.
"They are all extremely health conscious and have been taught from a young age that smoking is terrible, even though both parents have been smokers," the insider continued.
The Magazine recalled that Pitt has been under a lot of stress in recent years, as he negotiates a divorce settlement with his ex-partner Angelina Jolie, as well as custody of their six children (Pax, 15; Zahara, 14; Shiloh, 13; and 10-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne).
The source assured that, while the actress daughter of Jon Voigt "managed to give up" cigarettes "a couple of years ago and the children were very proud", Brad "is still desperately dependent and has them very worried."
Brad Pitt's last major public appearance was in May, during the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere and press conference of "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood." There he made a great appearance with a new "look": white long-sleeved t-shirt, short-sleeved t-shirt on top, sunglasses and a cap.
Although he did not only see smoking on the red carpet, the cigarette also accompanied him to France.
