While the specifics of their relationship remain ambiguous, it's apparent that Fitzpatrick played a role beneficial to Meghan Markle. He extended invitations to her, including one to an event where Liam Niss was present. Interestingly, Niss later denied any acquaintance with Meghan, despite photographic evidence suggesting otherwise. Amidst media coverage, an Irish publication, Irish Central, claimed that Fitzpatrick attended Meghan's wedding in 2018.

However, official guest lists did not corroborate this claim. It's important to clarify that Meghan Markle is not of Irish descent, contrary to the assertions made by Irish Central. While her paternal lineage traces back to Irish roots through one of her great-grandmothers, Meghan herself has never identified as Irish.

Moreover, the same publication purported that a psychic predicted Meghan's wedding would end disastrously, a prophecy that failed to materialize. Fitzpatrick's involvement in offering complimentary hotel stays to women accompanying him to fundraisers in New York, attended by the likes of the Clintons and Obamas, is documented.

He even visited Meghan privately at Kensington. Tom Bow's book offers insights into Fitzpatrick, highlighting his prominence as the chairman of the American Ireland Fund, his philanthropic endeavors, and his close ties with political figures like the Clintons. Fitzpatrick, known for his charm and hospitality, often gifted lavish items to women he escorted, including the famed Louboutin stilettos.

Fitzpatrick recognized Meghan's aspirations, introducing her to celebrities and treating her to fine dining experiences, particularly at Laet, a renowned restaurant among New York's elite. Meghan found Fitzpatrick's connections with the Clintons appealing; he hosted Hillary's fundraising events in New York City during her presidential campaign. When questioned about her relationship with Fitzpatrick, Meghan maintained that their interactions were innocent, insisting they were best friends.

Despite purportedly dating Cory Vello at the time, Meghan sought to enhance her social circle by mingling with influential figures. Although many speculated Meghan's involvement with Fitzpatrick extended beyond friendship, Liam Niss, a friend of Fitzpatrick's, inadvertently hinted at Meghan's role as a "sugar baby" to Fitzpatrick during an interview, despite later denying any knowledge of her. Photographs of Meghan and Fitzpatrick together added fuel to the speculation surrounding their relationship.
