Kensington Palace stated they would not provide ongoing commentary on her health, but Katherine's deeply personal journey has led her to take control of her communication.
After her 2023 Christmas Day appearance with the royal family, Katherine's absence from official engagements in early January worried fans. Following her abdominal surgery on January 17th, Kensington Palace announced that she would remain private until after Easter and confirmed that her illness was non-cancerous.
