What was supposed to be a diplomatic event quickly spiraled into an awkward and tense situation, allegedly involving the Colombian Vice President, Francia Márquez, who seemed on the verge of confrontation after Meghan got too close to her husband, Rafael.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in Colombia to participate in various cultural events, including a traditional music festival in the lively city of Cartagena. Initially, everything appeared to be going smoothly. However, things took a dramatic turn when Meghan greeted Rafael Márquez with a customary kiss on the cheek.
